Meduri Srinivas comes from the family of classical music. Veena, the instrument, has been a part of him right from his childhood. He is one of the youngest “A” Grade veena artists of All India Radio. At a tender age of eight, Meduri Srinivas gave his first stage performance and since then, there was no looking back as he climbed the higher rungs of his career in the field of music. In a rare and unique occasion, Srinivas had conducted and performed along with his parents and other family members, comprising about 15 members of four generations, a unique concert at Hyderabad, to mesmerize the audience. Just to mention one of the excellent accomplishments of Meduri Srinivas, he received the first prize in three consecutive years in the senior section in classical music, Veena, in the All India Competitions (during 1989 to 1991), conducted by Navya Nataka Samiti, Hyderabad. A special memento was awarded on this delightful and rare occasion.

Dr. Pantula Rama hails from a culturally abundant family of musicians, poets and astrologers. Dr.Rama had her initial training in music under her father Sri.Pantula Gopala Rao and continues to be the prime disciple of Sangeeta Kalasagara Sri.Ivaturi Vijayeswara Rao. She enjoys the privilege of having the brilliant musician Sri.M.S.N.Murthy as her soul mate. Exhibiting prodigious talent, Rama gave her maiden concert at the age of 8. Dr. Pantula Rama is highly regarded for her chaste, aesthetic and intellectual style of singing. She is graded “A” in vocal and “B-High” in Violin & Viola by All India Radio. She holds a PhD in music from Andhra University. Her doctoral thesis has been published by Gyan Publishers of New Delhi under the title – “Shaping of an ideal Carnatic Musician through Sadhana”. She has been honoured with the title Gayatri Sangeeta Vidwanmani. She is the recipient of many awards such as – Outstanding Lady Vocalist, Best Pallavi Award from The Music Academy, Madras and Ragam Tanam Pallavi Award – Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana Festival. She has been performing all over India and countries like Singapore, Thailand and USA.
