Software engineer and vocalist S. Saketharaman, disciple of Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, works for Goldman Sachs dealing with investment banking in Bangalore. He is also an A-Grade AIR artiste.
Saketharaman, a native of Thanjavur, had intensive professional training from the violin maestro on manodharma and has been, for almost two decades now, cherishing his Lalgudi schooling where the raga-bhava, laya nuances and the stunningly diverse sangatis — useful even for dance choreography — come to the fore.
