Madurai.T.N.Seshagopalan, disciple of Ramanathapuram Sri.C.S.Sankarasivam the foremost disciple of Dr.Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavatar the doyen of music, musicologist, prolific composer and Harikatha exponent, has been enthralling audience right from the tender age of seven inspired by his mother’s music initially.

Endowed with a rich voice, remarkable creativity and his versatile style in raga delineation, rendition of krithis, execution of swaraprasthara and uniqueness in Ragam–Tanam-Pallavi exposition has received copious appreciation and admiration from his peers, press and ardent lovers of music all over the world.

He is a multifaceted genius giving programmes on the instruments Veena, Swara Raga Pradarshini (Keyboard – Classical music) with equal proficiency styled to his Vocal music; and, bringing out the art of traditional and classical form of Harikatha to the limelight. He has toured extensively over the globe. He has the unique prestige of being the ‘First Indian Vocalist’ invited to perform for Australian audience in the year 1986.
