Indian Classical Recital featuring mandolin maestro U. Srinivas has enraptured audiences throughout the world with his brilliance on the instrument, which he alone developed and into a solo instrument in the South Indian classical repertoire. A child prodigy, he gave his first public appearance at the age of nine and went on to receive the prestigious title of Padma Shree award from the President of India. He has recorded several of albums for labels including Realworld, BMG, EMI among others. He also tours regularly with Indian-Jazz ensemble Remember Shakti with guitarist John McLaughlin and tabla maestro Zakir Hussain. He will be joined by his brother U. Rajesh as on mandolin to provide riveting mandolin duets, on percussion is Muruga Boopathy on mridangam (a traditional barrel shaped South Indian drum), and S. V. Ramani on ghatam (an ancient musical clay pot).

Bharatha Natyam dance by Shobana & troupe
October/November 2003: Bharatha Natyam dance ballet by troupe of ten dancers and musicians featuring the popular dancer/actress Shobana.
An enchanting evening of Bharatha Natyam by this expressive talented troupe lead by Shobana as the principal dancer. A collective traditional 'Margam' of Bharatha Natyam is presented with live orchestra of four musicians. Shobana the dancer has been the in the field for the last 30 years. After her initiation under Guru K.J. Sarasa, Shobana did her advanced training under Smt. Chitra Visveswaran. Shobana branched out as an independent, individual performing artist when she entered her twenties. Ever since, Shobana has established herself as a pre-eminent exponent of Bharathnatyam, performing in a wide range of traditional and contemporary platforms. Shobana has also performed along with artists of stature such as Ustad Zakir Hussain, Vikku Vinayak Ram, Sonal Mansingh, and Padma Subramanyam.

Ganesh and Kumaresh: . Having learnt to play from their father and Guru Shri. T.S.Rajagopalan, Violin has come so naturally to both of them. In their career already spanning three decades, these brilliant musicians have created a distinct niche for themselves and are very popular for their entertaining and ascetic performances. They lead this wonderful musical ensemble. They have toured all over the world performing for different audiences and winning their appreciation.

Born in a family of musicians, Jayanthi, niece of the Violin Legend Lalgudi. G. Jayaraman, is the disciple of Smt. Padmavathy Ananthagopalan, who is a senior and distinguished veena player. Jayanthi had the rare privilege of being one of the select few disciples of Veena Virtuoso Dr. S. Balachander. Jayanthi started her concert career playing with her guru Smt. Padmavathy Ananthagopalan . The duo performed widely all over India and abroad. Jayanthi also performed a great number of concerts in the famous 'Violin-Veena -Venu' trio along with Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi and Sikkil Mala under the guidance of her Uncle Sri. Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. She is right now one of the leading veena players of the world. She has established herself as an artiste with 'rare insight, classicism and technical sophistication'.
